About

Business-first systems, built with the people who will use them.

Bolana Digital helps businesses improve how work moves by designing custom digital systems around that work. The starting point is the operation: the jobs, the handovers, the exceptions, and the information people already trust.

How we approach a project

Software is useful when it reduces friction in a real working day. We do not begin with a feature list copied from another industry. We ask how a job starts, who touches it, where it waits, and what “finished” means in that business.

If the honest answer is that a smaller change, or a tool you already pay for, would solve the problem, we will say so. A custom build is the right path when the workflow is specific enough that a generic product keeps getting worked around.

What we will not pretend

  • We do not publish client logos, headcounts, or performance claims on this website.
  • We do not list an office address or registration details here, because those are not part of this public site.
  • We do not promise a delivery date before the workflow is understood.
  • We do not ask for payment before a consultation.

From the first conversation

Discovery, communication, and the build.

Discovery and consultation

The consultation maps the current process, the people involved, and what a first version needs to do. You do not need a technical brief. Notes from that conversation become the basis of any later quotation.

Communication

You will have a clear point of contact. Progress is shown in language the business can review. A change in scope is discussed before it becomes part of the work, not discovered on an invoice.

Build, test, deploy, support

The system is developed in stages. Testing uses real tasks. Deployment includes a handover. Ongoing maintenance, if you want it, is a separate agreement so the boundary is obvious.

A simple sequence

  1. 1

    Discover

We start with a consultation. The aim is to understand how work moves, where time is lost, and what a first version actually needs to do.

  2. 2

    Build

We design and develop the system in stages. The people who will use it review the work while there is still time to correct the direction.

  3. 3

    Improve

We deploy, support the handover, and agree any maintenance or later improvements as their own piece of work. Nothing is assumed.

  • A written understanding of the scope before a build begins.
  • Staged reviews, so progress is visible without a technical background.
  • Testing against real tasks the team performs, not only a scripted demonstration.
  • Handover notes the business can keep.
  • Support arrangements discussed before go-live, and quoted separately when they are wanted.

Next step

Discuss a potential project.

If the way you work no longer fits the tools you have, start with a conversation. We will tell you plainly whether a custom system is the right next step.
